Friday Favorites

I’m sorry but is October not THE month for chili? The only other time that screams it louder is Superbowl Sunday. Hmmm … could football be the common denominator?

There are probably as many chili recipes as there are people in this world. This one is from Rachel Ray and it’s vegetarian.

WAIT! COME BACK!

I know I lost some of you with at least one, if not both, of those things.

But SSG promises, it’s really good. I make it every fall. And the good part? It makes so much, I only have to make it once. It keeps well in the freezer and acts as a great topper to baked potatoes, chili dogs and ahem … nachos! Next week I think I might even fry it up into a hash. I’ll be sure to let you know how that one goes.

Happy Friday!

It looks yummy. Ya know that is one thing I can't seem to find the 'right' recipe for is chili! Teen daughter keeps asking for me to make some too. LOL
I like the additions to your blog! You keep growing.

Should I admit now that I don't like beans? I know, I know - what is wrong with me? I cannot stand their texture. Same reason I don't eat bananas.

I love this recipe and have made it numerous times. Phil doesn't even realize that there is no meat in it!!

Yummo choice and totally delish!

TOTALLY the month for chili. My girlfriend has a Pumpkin Party each year and I'm always in charge for making the chili for the chili dogs. I'll check this recipe out.
