Some of SSG's Favorite Things

Crawling into bed at the end of the day and reading before falling asleep.
Cozying into the who done it murder mysteries of fall.

Anything set in New York City.
Anything set in the early 20th century.

Happening upon a new author you enjoy ...
and then learning they've just published the 10th book in a series you just started.

Ah yes, SSG is a very happy girl indeed.

I LOVE reading! I have a stack of books waiting on me and a rainy day or a cold one with winter coming. Do you know about paperbackswaps.com? Where you can swap books for JUST the cost of mailing them? I LOVE IT! Oh and totally fix yourself up a Breakfast in Bed on a rainy day and snuggle in to read. :-)

BTW I tweeted your blog this morning. Specifically your ADORABLE tiny kitchen makeover. Hope it helps increase traffic! You have an awesome blog going!

Mysteries are my favorite, and I've just tried one by Georgette Heyer. It was recommended by Nancy Pearl. I enjoyed it, but I think my favorite right now is the Carolyn Hart Death on Demand series

Thanks so much for sending people my way Sherri! And Molly thanks for the book recommendation! Did I ever tell you that I met Nancy Pearl once? She was just as sweet and warm in person as she is on the radio. I love her.
